Firebrands
at home to Guildford, Sunday the 13th of February 2005
I decided
that after last week's effort of getting lost trying to
find Teddingtons pitch and only finding it after the game
had finished, a trip to Firebrands, Longwood pitch to see
them take on Guildford would be nice, with the BBC web site
indicating bright sunshine I looked forward to not only
a good game of hockey but warm weather, as you will see
from my picture's the game was good.
On
the way to the ground we had snow with more during the game.

Sam
Bury marking tightly the Guildford player, have watched
Firebrands a couple of times this season now and Sam works
very hards for his team

and Jim Martin by his side.
Two
of the friendliest people I have met on my travels.

Ian
Jennings, what more can you say, a great player.

A good
game all round, Firebrands just not being able to get into
it, with Tim Barralet-Leak out and only have Simon up front
who looks like scoring, Guildford have got good players
all over the pitch, a good captain and good coach.
